DENTAL CARE
Our dental team will make sure you feel comfortable and let you take things at your own pace, whether it’s your child’s first time at the dentist or your first time getting your teeth cleaned in a decade.
For Children
We recommend babies come in once they get their first tooth. The first visits are focused on helping young children feel comfortable with dental care and talking to parents about how to care for their children’s growing teeth.
Our dental services for children age 0 through 20 include:
Cleanings every six months
Comprehensive exams
Fluoride treatments
X-rays, including panoramic
Fillings
Sealants
Primary (baby) tooth extractions
For Adults
We offer dental care to adults age 21 and older who are registered as primary care patients here. This includes visits with our dental hygienist for cleanings, X-rays, and other basic hygiene treatment, and visits with our dentist for exams and to discuss further treatment.
Our dental services for adults include:
Cleanings every six months
Comprehensive exams
Periodontal charting
Fluoride treatments
X-rays, including panoramic
Fillings
Sealants
There are some services we can’t provide in-house, such as extractions, root canals, and orthodontics. When it's possible, we make referrals to places that will take patients’ insurance or provide affordable care to uninsured patients.
Paying for Dental Services
We take some dental insurance; please talk to our billing office to discuss whether your insurance network includes us. Medicaid covers dental care for children through age 18 in New Hampshire and 21 in Maine. For adults, dental care is now included in both New Hampshire and Maine’s Medicaid program.
Our sliding fee discount program can help both insured and uninsured patients pay for care. Private funds are available for specific healthcare needs.
Our Care Coordination Team helps patients navigate access to the care they need. They can help you identify your best options to make healthcare affordable, and help you with enrollment. They can also help with transportation, translation, and overcoming other barriers to care.
