Open Doors ~ Open Minds ~ Always Confidential
"Together let's see how many people we can impact, empower, uplift and encourage to reach their fullest potential." ~ Anthony Robbins
The Teen Clinic provides reproductive health services, including birth control, STD screening and treatment, sexuality education, information and referral services to teens ages 14 through 21. Clinic services are provided on a walk-in basis on Thursdays from 2:30-5:00. If you are a new patient, please plan to arrive by 4pm as first visits take some time. You can also make an appointment by calling 447-8900.
Teen Clinic walk-in hours are staffed by Teen Clinic Coordinator Trisha Jacobson, a nurse practitioner, a medical assistant, and peer educators.
The Teen Clinic provides services on a sliding fee scale according to income. We take most insurances, so please bring your card if possible. No one is refused services even if they can't pay. Donations are gladly accepted.
To contact Trisha directly, call (603) 986-6076 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
More about Teen Clinic
The Teen Clinic is a great resource for teens and parents around sexuality, birth control and STDs and other issues related to teens...
...but that's not all we're about!
We know that health is a mind, body and spirit thing and that connection is important. Soooooo...if you have any questions or concerns about any issue affecting you, a friend or a teen you know, please don't hesitate to ask us!
We are here to help connect you to the information, the contacts, the service and the support you need to sort things out.
Beyond the health center
Walk-in hours are just a small part of what the Teen Clinic does. We work in area schools to reach young people where they are. We collaborate with local schools, community groups and youth service providers to provide health education classes and support to students, parents and community members.
Topics we address include adolescent growth and development, parent-teen communication, relationships, self esteem, healthy decision making, and comprehensive, abstinence-based sexuality education. The Teen Clinic uses Search Institute's 40 Developmental Assets as a foundation for all of our work.
The Teen Clinic actively seeks insight, involvement and critical review from our target audience. We recruit, train and employ teenaged peer educators to support both our clinical services and our outreach education program. In addition to helping directly with the programs, peer educators supply their peers with accurate reproductive health information and act as a conduit between their peers and adults who can provide support. We consider peer education to be a crucial element of our success in having one of the lowest teen pregnancy rates in the United States!
